  • Assessment and quiz functionality

VR Experiences Include:

  • Cultural and historical sites (African heritage sites)
  • Science and nature explorations
  • Historical reconstructions
  • Interactive learning environments
  • Curriculum-aligned educational content

3. User Accounts

4. User Responsibilities and Conduct

Use the Platform only for lawful educational purposes, comply with all laws, respect intellectual property rights, and maintain appropriate professional conduct.

❌ Prohibited Activities

  • Illegal purposes or harassing others
  • Uploading malicious code or viruses
  • Unauthorized system access or reverse engineering
  • Sharing account credentials
  • Using bots or automated systems without authorization
  • Collecting user data without consent

5. Booking and Scheduling

  • Minimum: 25 students per session
  • Maximum: 30 students (varies by experience)
  • Advance booking required
  • Valid class enrollment

R20.00 per student

  • ✓ Fixed pricing regardless of duration
  • ✓ No hidden fees
  • ✓ Bulk discounts available
  • ✓ Institutional billing available

🔄 Cancellation Policy

  • • Free cancellation: 48+ hours in advance
  • • Within 48 hours: Fees may apply
  • • No-shows: Full charge
  • • Emergency cancellations: Case-by-case

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All Platform content including software, VR experiences, graphics, and educational materials are owned by SemVR or our licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, patent, and trade secret laws.

10. Warranties and Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

We do not guarantee specific educational outcomes, student performance gains, uninterrupted service, or compatibility with all devices. You use the Platform at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SEMVR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • • Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
  • • Loss of data or information
  • • Consequential or incidental damages
  • • Total liability limited to amount paid in past 12 months
  • • Free accounts: Limited to R1,000

19. Health and Safety Warnings

⚠️ IMPORTANT VR HEALTH AND SAFETY

Consult a physician before VR use if you:

  • Are pregnant
  • Have pre-existing medical conditions (heart, vision, psychiatric)
  • Have a history of seizures or epilepsy
  • Are taking medications affecting perception

VR use may cause:

  • Eye strain or fatigue
  • Motion sickness or nausea
  • Disorientation or dizziness
  • Headaches and loss of balance

✅ Safety Recommendations:

  • ✓ Take breaks every 30 minutes
  • ✓ Ensure clear play area free of obstacles
  • ✓ Stop immediately if symptoms occur
  • ✓ Supervise young users at all times
  • ✓ Minimum age: 13 years

YOU ASSUME ALL RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH VR USE. SEMVR IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR INJURIES OR HEALTH ISSUES RESULTING FROM VR EXPERIENCES.
